Angela, I’ll make a post with a couple of my favorite recipes. So far I’ve surprised myself at how much I haven’t missed the gluten. Also, it’s cutting my carbs way back. I started using http://www.myfitnesspal.com to track my food. Carbs are down, but fat content is up, unfortunately. I’m going to have to push that back down. It’s probably up because we’ve started doing more recipes with pork as a main ingredient.

I was so sad to see that! I agree with you though. I loved their food and the atmosphere, but I couldn’t afford to support them as much as I wanted to. Hopefully I can make it by one last time this week.

A lot of people agree with you. It’s loud, hot, and there are so many people it’s hard to move around. I like them to an extent, but I only go for a short time. I couldn’t stay all day, unless I was working. And I really hate vending, so I do it very little these days, because of how stressful it is.

I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of street festivals. They all seem the same to me, plus I’m not a big fan of large crowds. We had breakfast at Pete’s on Saturday, hit the Farmer’s Market preview (which was a wonderful surprise) and then strolled down Gay around 10:30 a.m. That was good enough for me.
