So many interesting things happened to me over the weekend. It was one of those crazy times where it seems everything in the world is going on and then all kinds of unexpected things happen too. But one unexpected thing that happened fits in with my Music Monday posts. I met Sarah Rhodes, a local musician who is as yet undiscovered. She is amazing, click on that link and go to her Myspace and listen to her stuff. Her voice is fabulous and her original songs are so wonderful.
Jon and I have been on the phone with some people we know and hopefully she will be playing a show at Remedy Coffee sometime very soon. I’m also going to get on the phone with some other places and mention her name. She is so amazing, I would love to see her at more downtown stops. She is far superior to a lot of downtown musicians I’ve heard.
